LPNH prevails over Governor Sununu and Secretary Gardner
Federal Court Judge LaPlante rules in favor of the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire and has granted our candidates a 35% reduction in the number of candidate petitions needed to appear on the general election ballot. When asked about the ruling, Councilor Dumont said,
“It was both appalling and telling to see that neither Governor Sununu who was willfully negligent, nor Secretary of State Gardner who was dutifully silent, were unwilling to offer the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire such reasonable accommodations that it need be mandated by judicial order.”
Councilor Dumont and his fellow candidates for office are moving forward with their new petition requirements and will be submitting completed petitions soon.
